Dave Chenn, M.B.A.
Dave Chenn, M.B.A., is an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and the acting Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Oceanpine Capital, which he founded in 2018. In addition to our Board of Directors, Dave serves as a council member and global advisory member at the Booth Business School of the University of Chicago, a trustee of Culver Academies, the Vice Chairman of the China Green Energy Fund, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Institute of Technology, and many others.
Prior to Oceanpine, he founded China Century Group, a multinational company headquartered in Beijing. He also held leadership positions at Oracle, McKinsey, and Emerson Electric. His successful entrepreneurship and commitment to philanthropy have garnered extensive recognition, including the Innovation Leader of China’s Economy Award, a Top Ten Reformer of China’s Growth Award, a China's Top 20 Investor of Semiconductor Award, a China's Top 10 Investor of Biopharma Award, a China's Top 50 Investor Award, and many others.
Dave holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth Business School and a B.S. from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
