(Senior) Research Associate

Position Summary

Immune-Onc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced cell biologist to join our pharmacology team to develop and perform cell-based assays for antibody-based therapeutics. This individual will screen and evaluate antibody-based therapeutic candidates in immunology, oncology and pharmacology fields. The successful candidate will be both a strong lab-based individual contributor and a team player in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate will contribute to experimental design and execution, data analysis and interpretation, and will present (verbal/written) findings to project teams.

Experience and Requirements

  • The qualified individual will possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in immunology or biological sciences discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in academia, biotechnology and/or pharma after completion of degree.

  • Ability to plan and execute in vitro and ex vivo experiments.

  • Direct experience with a broad range of immunological techniques, including isolation and stimulation of primary immune cells, multi-color flow cytometry, immune cell-based assay development, ELISA, real-time PCR.

  • Management of external CROs.

  • Candidates are expected to be well-organized with attention to details and have demonstrated ability to prioritize and solve problems.

  • Ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while sustaining progress, focus, and high morale in the face of uncertainty or ambiguity.
